PUBG: Mobile has finally introduced support for playing the game at a 120 fps frame rate on some devices. PUBG: Mobile has offered a high refresh rate option for many years, but it ran at a maximum 90 fps on all devices until version 3.2.

Version 3.2 of PUBG: Mobile was released to app stores on Android and iOS on May 13 and adds a 120 fps to the graphics settings on select devices. The list of supported devices includes a few Galaxy smartphones as well, as Samsung had revealed a few days prior to the release of the game's 3.2 update.

For those wondering, both the Exynos and Snapdragon variants of the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ support PUBG's 120 fps mode, not just the Snapdragon variants. We can assume the same will be true for any other Galaxy flagships that use both Exynos and Snapdragon chips and receive support for running PUBG at 120 fps in the future.

Speaking of the future, Samsung has not revealed whether it plans to work with Tencent, the game's developer, to bring the 120 fps option to more Galaxy smartphones. The option is also not supported on any Galaxy tablets as of May 15, but we will update the list above whenever that changes, so be sure to bookmark this page!

Download PUBG from the Galaxy Store or Play Store

PUBG: Mobile can be downloaded/updated from both the Galaxy Store and the Google Play Store on Galaxy smartphones. You can also download it directly from the official PUBG website, though taking this route will require you to download the complete installation file for the game and install it manually using a file manager app (such as Samsung My Files, which comes installed on all Galaxy phones).
