Apple might unveil the upcoming iPad Pro with an M4 chip with AI capabilities

Apple is reportedly planning small hands-on events for its favourite members of the media in the US, UK and Asia. Apple is expected to unveil the new OLED iPad Pro during its "Let Loose" event on May 7 and there is a possibility that the device will be powered by the M4 chip, making it Apple’s “first truly AI-powered device.”Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, in the latest edition of his weekly newsletter, states that this would allow the tech giant to "lay out its AI chip strategy without distraction" at the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference in June "Then, at WWDC, it could focus on how the M4 chip and new iPad Pros will take advantage of the AI software and services coming as part of iPadOS 18 later this year," he added saying that he expects the A18 Pro chip in the iPhone 16 Pro lineup be be AI-focused as well.Gurman also reiterated that the "Let Loose" event will focus on the new iPad Pro, iPad Air, Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil. While the event is likely going to be an online-only affair, Gurman said thatThe highlight of the new iPad Pro lies in its OLED display , bringing the technology to the iPad lineup from the iPhone for the first time. Additionally, the iPad Air expands its repertoire with a 12.9-inch screen option. Not to be outdone, the new Apple Pencil is expected to introduce haptic feedback.
