Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar in a presser on Monday said the blood sample sent by doctors to the forensic lab for analysis was not of the teenager.
Accordingly, Kumar said that charges of criminal conspiracy, forgery and destruction of evidence have been added to the case.
"The doctors who had sealed and sent the sample to forensic were detained yesterday.
During interrogation, it was revealed that though the juvenile's sample was taken but it was thrown in dustbin.
It was replaced with some other person's sample and then juvenile's name was written on it before sending it to the forensic lab," Kumar told the media.
In the latest, the Pune Police have arrested two doctors and a peon for allegedly manipulating the blood sample report of the minor, who allegedly was drunk when he hit the bike on which the two victims were travelling.
