Elon Musk insists he is an alien, vows to share evidence on social media

Known for his quirky social media posts and unconventional comments, Musk took things up a notch when the host jokingly suggested that some people think he might be an alien. The AI could be like the cortex, trying to make humans (the limbic system) happy. So, if you think about the way that our brain works: we've got the limbic system, which is our instincts and our feelings. The video of which was shared on social media platform X by a user. So, keep an eye on Musk’s social media!

Is Elon Musk an alien? That’s what he claims. During an interview at the Viva Tech event, Musk did what he does best—keeping everyone on their toes with a mix of humor and audacity. Known for his quirky social media posts and unconventional comments, Musk took things up a notch when the host jokingly suggested that some people think he might be an alien. With a straight face and a twinkle in his eye, Musk agreed without missing a beat.

"Some people believe that you are an alien,” the host asked Musk. Pat came the reply, "I am an alien,” To which the host gleefully said Musk has now been uncovered. “Yes, I keep telling people I'm an alien, but nobody believes me,” Musk said.

You’ve got to hand it to him—Musk knows how to keep the conversation interesting. Whether he’s tweeting about building tunnels under LA or sending a car into space, he’s always up to something that makes you wonder, “Is he serious?” This time, it’s claiming to be an alien and promising to share the proof on social media. Whether he’s playing a long con or just having a bit of fun, the world is definitely paying attention.

But that wasn’t all. Musk also shared some deep thoughts about humans and artificial intelligence. He believes humans give AI meaning and purpose. To explain, he compared our brains to how AI works.

He said our brains have two main parts: the limbic system, which controls our instincts and feelings, and the cortex, which handles thinking and planning. The cortex is always trying to make the limbic system happy. Musk thinks it might be the same with AI. The AI could be like the cortex, trying to make humans (the limbic system) happy.

"I do think there's perhaps still a role for humans, in that we give AI meaning. So, if you think about the way that our brain works: we've got the limbic system, which is our instincts and our feelings. And then we've got the cortex, which is thinking and planning. But the cortex is constantly trying to make the limbic system happy. So maybe that's how it will be with AI. The AI is trying to make that cortex happy, which is trying to make our limbic system happy. And maybe we are what will give the AI meaning or purpose.” Musk said at the event. The video of which was shared on social media platform X by a user.

Musk’s chat at Viva Tech was a mix of humor and thought-provoking ideas. Whether he truly believes he's an alien or not, one thing's for sure— Elon Musk knows how to keep us entertained and thinking about the future.

So, keep an eye on Musk’s social media! Who knows, maybe he’ll actually share some “alien evidence” soon. And in the meantime, we can all enjoy the ride as Musk continues to blend his playful side with his visionary ideas.
