The fall 2025 release window means GTA 6 should be released between September 2025 and November 2025. It is important to note that this is a target release window and could change based on how things go in the future.

Another thing to note is that the confirmed GTA 6 release window is only for consoles i.e. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. We are yet to hear official details regarding the GTA 6 PC release.
The GTA developer hasn’t revealed much about the next iteration of the game, which is the most anticipated one. We have a GTA 6 trailer, which introduced us to the series’ first female protagonist Lucia who will have Jason as her partner in crime (literally). The game will also show our beloved 80s Vice City from GTA Vice City in its modern avatar.

In other news, Take-Two has revealed GTA V aka GTA 5 has reached another milestone as it has sold over 200 million copies worldwide. The game was released in 2013 and has been the second-best-selling video game for quite some time. The crown still belongs to Microsoft’s Minecraft, which has sold over 300 million copies.
GTA 5 has been released on three generations of consoles since its debut. These include the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. You can also play the game on Windows PCs.
