The report suggests that Apple is testing a new revamped version of the Calendar app that offers integration with the Reminders app. The main benefit of this feature is that with the Calendar app, iOS18 users will be able to schedule and organise reminders directly from the app interface.

It will further allow users to view all the old and new reminders to be visible within the Day, Week, and Monthly Calendar view. The leak also suggests that these changes will also be visible in the MacOS 15 update. However, no such features are mentioned for the upcoming iPad OS 18 and watchOS 11 updates till now.

If this rumour is accurate, then Apple will solve a long -term faced by most iPhone users, as till now both the Calendar and Reminder apps have no integration for reminders or upcoming events. In addition, it might make creating reminders more efficient, as iPhone users can rely solely on the Calendar app to create them.

These new improvements to Calendar and Reminders are expected to join a host of other features to Apple's upcoming operating systems, which will be officially announced in Apple’s Worldwide Developer’s Conference event, which will begin on June 10, 2024.
