BJP stalwarts, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, criticised the RJD leader for the content of the video as it was posted during Navratri.
"Motilal Nehru, the father of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, was Ambani of his time but no one knows where his wealth and property came from.
"Nobody knows how Jawaharlal Nehru became the prime minister as voting was in favour of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel".

The rally on Saturday took place in Mandi, the Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh where Ranaut has been fielded as the BJP candidate.

While criticising the Opposition, she said, "There is a party of spoilt 'shehzaadas' (princes). They themselves don't know where to go. Be it Rahul Gandhi, who wants to grow potatoes on the moon, or Tejasvi Surya, who indulges in hooliganism and eats fish."
As videos of Ranaut's gaffe went viral on social media,Tejashwi Yadav reacted to the mix-up and said, "Ye mohtarma kaun hai (Who is this madam)?"
Tejashwi Yadav was embroiled in controversy last month after he posted a video on social media, which showed the RJD leader and Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahni enjoying a meal of fried fish and rotis in a helicopter after campaigning.

The former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar later clarified that the video was shot before the week-long Navratri festivities started.
At the rally, Kangana Ranaut not only made the gaffe, but also attacked the Congress, including late leaders, due to which the party lodged a complaint against her with the Election Commission.
"Motilal Nehru, the father of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, was Ambani of his time but no one knows where his wealth and property came from. He was close to the British, and from where he got the wealth is still a secret," she said.
"Nobody knows how Jawaharlal Nehru became the prime minister as voting was in favour of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel". Since then, this "'deemak' (termite) of dynastic rule has infected the country. On one hand, we have a 'tapasvion ke sarkar' (BJP government), and on the other we have 'bhoogion ke sarkar' (Congress) made up of small gangs of 'shehzaadas'. One is in Delhi and the other is here (in Himachal Pradesh)," Ranaut said, in a veiled reference to Vikramaditya Singh, the Congress candidate pitted against the actor in Mandi.
In its complaint filed by state convenors, the Congress said Ranaut "used derogatory and insulting remarks against senior leaders of the Congress party and crossed all lines by making comparisons of freedom fighters with businessmen".
"She has tried to draw comparisons between freedom fighter Motilal Nehru with one of the top businessmen of the country."
