Judicial Magistrate Arunima Chauhan granted Budhiraja relief after he moved an application stating that he will remain present before the Court which had declared him a proclaimed offender in the matter.
In December 2023, Budhiraja was declared a proclaimed offender by the Chief Judicial Magistrate after warrants against him were returned unexecuted.
In the application filed today, his counsel argued that the case was compoundable and bailable in nature.
