Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G Special Edition Launch Date In India: Xiaomi, a Chinese smartphone maker, is gearing up to launch the World Champions Edition of the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G to mark its 10th anniversary in India on April 30. The company showcased the first look of the box package of the special edition device at the Xiaomi Smarter Living 2024 event. Ahead of the launch, the company has now teased the first look of the device.

As per Redmi India's X (formerly called Twitter) post, the phone will have the Argentine Football Association (AFA) logo in a golden finish. The camera module will have golden accents around the circular camera ring. The company has already confirmed that the smartphone will launch on April 30. A dedicated microsite of the Note 13 Pro+ is already live on Mi.com.

The AFA edition of the device was earlier leaked by tipster Ishan Agarwal. In the images, the device can be seen with blue and white strips at the bottom, which hints it could have a dual-tone design. It will likely have a speaker unit and an IR blaster at the top. Like the regular models, the 13 Pro+ AFA edition will debut with similar specifications.

The Note 13 Pro Plus' special edition may get a 6.67-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED 120Hz display with 1,800nits peak brightness, MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chip, MIUI 14 based on Android 13, 5,000mAh battery with 120W HyperCharge charging, 200MP + 8MP + 2MP rear and a 16MP selfie lens. Moreover, the smartphone could offer more storage and RAM.

Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus Special Edition Price (Expectations)

Considering special edition smartphones are priced higher than the regular models, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus AFA Edition could also follow a similar path. As the smartphone's base trim starts from Rs 31,999, we can expect the device to sit in the sub-Rs 35,000 price bracket. For context, the handset is already available in Black, Purple and White shades.
