The design previewed by Samsung for the Galaxy F55 5G closely resembles that of the Galaxy C55 5G. While both devices share similarities in specifications, the Galaxy M55 lacks the vegan leather finishes found in the Galaxy C55.

The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is set to debut in India as a revamped version of the recently unveiled Galaxy C55 5G in China. The Galaxy C55 boasts a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, a hole-punch AMOLED Plus display, a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging, complemented by vegan leather back panel.

With the company officially confirming the imminent India launch of the Galaxy F55 5G, it is likely to mirror the specifications and design of the Galaxy C55 model.

In a recent announcement on X, formerly Twitter, Samsung India confirmed the launch of the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G in the country, featuring triple rear cameras and a vegan leather finish. The accompanying video offered a glimpse of the upcoming model, showcasing a tan-orangish leather back panel with with two vertical lines in a stitch pattern along the left and right edges. Additionally, the post affirmed that the handset will be available on Flipkart.

The design previewed by Samsung for the Galaxy F55 5G closely resembles that of the Galaxy C55 5G. Furthermore, the colour option appears to be similar to the orange variant released in China. Additionally, considering the introduction of the model in a black colourway, it's probable that this option may also be offered for the Galaxy F55 5G in India.

It's worth mentioning that the Galaxy C55 bears resemblance to the recently launched Galaxy M55 handset in India. While both devices share similarities in specifications, the Galaxy M55 lacks the vegan leather finishes found in the Galaxy C55.

Previous reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is expected to debut featuring a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, along with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits peak brightness level. Additionally, the device is rumoured to come equipped with 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of internal storage, and run on Android 14-based One UI 6.0.

Rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G will feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, along with an 8-megapixel sensor paired with an ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter at the rear. Additionally, it is expected to house a 50-megapixel sensor at the front for selfies. The device is likely to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W wired fast charging.
