Ravi Prakash popularly known as TV9 Ravi Prakash was shunted out of the channel after the hostile takeover by My Home Group.
Ravi Prakash has been trying to make a comeback since then and he purchased a channel ‘Rayudu TV’ and rebranded it as RTV.
The Channel ran into a Copyright issue with Arnab Goswami’s Republic TV and the issue is in courts delaying the channel launch.
The Channel has been operational on YouTube for more than a year now.
The Channel’s Survey about Rayalaseema is creating tremors in the Political Circles.
It has given 29 seats for YSR Congress, 22 for TDP, and One for Congress (Madakasira).
This is a big jolt for YSR Congress which is pinning all its hopes on a bumper majority in Rayalaseema if it were to counter the impact of the alliance in Andhra.

YSR Congress’s Social Media Wings are countering this survey with a single-point Agenda. They are claiming that Ravi Prakash is a Kamma and so he gave a favorable survey to help the Telugu Desam Party.
TV9 was formally launched on February 1st, 2004. The channel rose to fame in June with Balakrishna’s Shooting Case. The channel sensationalized the case like never before in the history of TRPs. Later TV9 acted in favor of Congress in 2004 and 2009 elections and stayed neutral in 2014 elections.
The Channel helped Jagan in all the ways between 2014 and 2019. All this happened when Ravi Prakash as its founding CEO.
He was shunted out of the channel after a hostile takeover in May 2019.
Now, Ravi Prakash suddenly became a Kamma.

RTV is expected to release the Survey of Coastal Andhra later today. We will know the impact of the TDP and Janasena alliance by the number TDP+ gets there.
RTV is the only mainstream survey (With mainstream News Channel background) to come out so far.
It is interesting to note that RTV gave eight seats each to Congress and BJP and one seat to MIM. The shocking finding of the Survey is Zero seats to the BRS.
