Despite the challenges faced during the pandemic, the safety of the vaccine was their priority, it said.
Both vaccines—AstraZeneca's Vaxzervria or Covishield—have been instrumental in saving millions of lives worldwide, according to the company.
"We commend the collaborative efforts of governments and ministries in facilitating a unified global response to the pandemic," it said.
