Thomas Tuchel might not be “convinced” of all decision-makers at Bayern Munich per Fabrizio Romano

Bayern Munich and coach Thomas Tuchel might (or might not) be heading toward making up and taking another run at a partnership for next season.

There are already rumors of a potential contract extension being a sticking point for the coach, but there could be more. Tuchel might not be fully convinced in all of the decision-makers at Bayern Munich — something that some will attribute to the recent public spat Tuchel had with club legend Uli Hoeneß.

“It’s now a possibility for Tuchel to stay but there are several points being discussed. It’s about the future squad, the transfer market, the support from the board,” Romano said. “Tuchel will only stay if Bayern are really 100% convinced, all the people into the club and not just some of them. Conversations are currently ongoing, with Tuchel spotted meeting the Bayern board yesterday. This could be disappointing news for United fans, as Tuchel would arguably have been the most exciting candidate out there this summer in case the Red Devils part ways with Ten Hag.”

As noted, Manchester United seems to be a potential landing spot for Tuchel should things not work out between the manager and Bayern Munich.
