We tested Apex Legends Mobile with Ultra HD graphics and High frame rate settings, and it maintained a consistent 40fps. The phone did heat up during gameplay, but it was manageable. The minimum frame rate was 32fps, which is quite acceptable. Similarly, we played Call of Duty: Mobile with Very High graphics and Max frame rate settings, and the game ran smoothly at a constant 60fps.

Therefore, the Samsung Galaxy S23 does heat up during gaming, with the highest temperature recorded at 37 degrees Celsius, but the cooling system helps it quickly return to normal. Additionally, everyday functionalities are smooth and reliable.

We played Apex Legends Mobile with Ultra HD graphics and Ultra frame rate settings, and it maintained a consistent 60fps. However, during parachuting, the frame rate dropped to 13fps, which is quite low. During squad fights, we did not notice any frame drops.

Call of Duty: Mobile ran smoothly in all settings. Notably, after gaming sessions, the phone’s temperature was 34 degrees Celsius, three degrees lower than the Galaxy S23. We played BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile for one hour each for gaming tests. BGMI was tested with Ultra HDR graphics quality and Ultra frame rates, maintaining a consistent 40fps without issues. The phone did not heat up significantly, only becoming slightly warm near the camera module.

During Call of Duty: Mobile gameplay, the phone achieved Very High graphics quality and Max frame rates, running smoothly at 60fps without any drops. After the session, the back panel temperature reached 37 degrees Celsius, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S23.
