Actor Manoj Bajpayee can no longer bargain with vegetable vendors. When he does, the vendors scold him and tell him that these things don't suit an actor of his stature. Additionally, his wife, Shabana Bajpayee, distances herself from him during grocery shopping when he tries to haggle.

In a recent interview with Mashable India, Bajpayee shared that he rarely finds time for grocery shopping due to his busy schedule. However, when he does manage to go, he is "scolded" by vegetable vendors for bargaining. They tell him, "Ye achcha nahi lag raha sir. (Sir, this doesn't look good)." In response, the actor humorously quips, "I am merely practising!"

Sometimes, when Bajpayee is accompanied by his wife, she ignores him if he starts bargaining for vegetables. "My wife would behave as if she doesn’t know me. She doesn’t like to bargain," the 'Family Man' actor added.

Bajpayee and his wife, Shabana, are committed to adopting a sustainable lifestyle. They opt for cloth bags over plastic ones when shopping for groceries. "We have a lot of cloth bags which we take to buy groceries," the 55-year-old actor said.

Regarding clothing, Bajpayee and Shabana pack away garments they no longer need in cartons and distribute them to friends and relatives, ensuring they serve a purpose for those in need. “When we feel we are done with certain clothes, we pack them in cartons and send them to different cities where we send them to our friends or relatives, who then distribute them to those in need. There is no point in throwing the clothes away of course,” Manoj Bajpayee shared.

Additionally, the actor, whose 100th film 'Bhaiyaa Ji' recently hit theatres, mentioned that his wife enjoys visiting thrift stores in every city they visit. "My wife is very fond of thrifting. When we go to America, whether one buys or not, she has to go to the thrift store. She visits thrift stores in every city. It is my job to find as many thrift stores for Shabana," said Bajpayee.

Meanwhile, Manoj Bajpayee has started work on the third season of 'The Family Man'.
