Why Will MS Dhoni Not Play IPL 2024 Match Vs RCB?

MS Dhoni is certainly one of the most charismatic cricketer of the modern era and his legacy both as an international cricketer and CSK star will be remembered by generations to come. He is now 42-year-old and is most probably playing his final IPL season, so the excitement around the man has gone to the level never seen before.

However, CSK are left with only one game in the league stage, and need to win that game against RCB, if they want to qualify for the playoffs. If they do not win, it will be the end of their season and probably the end of MS Dhoni's IPL career as well.

MS though has few times mentioned in his interviews that he would like to play his last IPL game at Chepauk which means that we might see him skipping this final league stage.

If he does skip the game and CSK do not qualify, then the game against Rajasthan Royals at Chepauk which Chennai won by five wickets might go down as his final game. However, if they do win the game against RCB, they will have the chance to play playoffs which will be played at Chepauk and fans might get the chance to see MS Dhoni again on the field.

However, it will be quite a bold and emotional call if MS Dhoni does decide to skip an important must-win game against RCB at Chinnaswamy, and all cricket fans would be hoping that MS does get on the field on the ground on 18th of May in the all-important game.
