“We the BJP voters are 80 percent but only 20 percent come out and vote. Congress’ voters are 20 percent but they come out and vote 80 percent. This is the ground reality at the polling booths in most cases. Every single vote of yours matters. Please come out and vote because if you are not voting, Congress’ 20 percent is definitely voting,” said Surya.

The 33-year-old politician, seeking re-election from the Bengaluru South seat, further said, “No matter the heat or the rain, it is your vote that will decide the future of the nation for the next five years.”

Surya is contesting against Congress candidate Sowmya Reddy, daughter of Karnataka Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy.
