Aamir Khan got deeply personal on the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show. The actor shared several untold stories about his personal and professional journey. Comedian Kapil Sharma has now shared behind-the-scenes clips from the latest episode, showing the 59-year-old actor discussing his minimalistic approach to maintaining his appearance.

When a guest on the show complimented on his youthful looks at the age of 59, the actor said he could not take any credit as he doesn’t do anything special. He said, “Abba jaan’s genes were good and I don’t deserve any credit in this. I don’t workout and I don’t even apply any cream on my face. In fact, I got to know what a shampoo is when I became an actor, otherwise I used to use soap for everything. I don’t do a single thing to make myself look good. When a film comes, I work on my body for that film. I am very lazy. I don’t do anything.”

During the show, Aamir also opened up about his initial reluctance to play the character of Rancho in the film “3 Idiots.” He expressed concerns about being laughed at for portraying an 18-year-old college student at the age of 44. He recalled, “I wasn’t even doing 3 Idiots because I thought the public would laugh at me as I was turning 44 and I am playing the role of an 18-year-old boy. It would be weird. I told Raju (director Rajkumar Hirani) to take three youngsters but he was after me. I hadn’t worked with Raju till then. I was a big fan but the story he brought me, I was like how will I play this young character.” Also read | The Great Indian Kapil Show 5th episode first impression: Aamir Khan’s untold stories rescue audience from Kapil Sharma’s dull humour Despite his initial doubts, Aamir shared how Hirani convinced him to take on the role.
