Reality show celebrities have risen to fame in the recent past. Bigg Boss 16 finalist and Bigg Boss Marathi winner Shiv Thakare recently made headlines when he came forward alleging that he received only one-fourth of the winning amount. Now, after Shiv, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 winner Manisha Rani revealed that she has not received her winning amount of Rs 30 lakh yet, and when she does, she will only get 50 per cent of it. During her latest vlog with content creator Mahesh Keshwala aka Thugesh, Manisha made this revelation following which Thugesh said, ‘This is the reality of reality shows.’

For those who don’t know, three weeks ago reality show star Shiv Thakare appeared on Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast. During the conversation, Shiv shared that despite winning Bigg Boss Marathi, he only received a quarter of the winning amount. He said, “When I came on Bigg Boss 16 a lot of people told me to take a permanent job with Bigg Boss. After winning Bigg Boss Marathi when I came to Hindi, I realised that they get paid a lot of money. I did get my Bigg Boss Marathi winning amount, but half of it was taken by the government, the winning amount was Rs 25 lakhs, but due to the other two finalists, Rs 8 lakhs was reduced. I was supposed to get Rs 17 lakhs, but I only received Rs 11.5 lakhs in my account.”
