After shouting at Sanju Samson, DC co-owner makes peace with RR captain

The co-owner of the Delhi Capitals, Parth Jindal, lost his composure during his team’s matchup against the Rajasthan Royals in Delhi. The video of Jindal’s outburst went viral, but no one noticed the post-match gesture he made for Samson and RR. On their Instagram handle, the Capitals posted a surprising occurrence involving Jindal, Samson, and RR owner Manoj Badale catching up after the game. Quite the contrast from his previous behaviour, Jindal shook hands with Samson and spoke briefly with the Royals captain. The Delhi side captioned the post, ‘Our Chairman and Co-owner, Parth Jindal, caught up with Rajasthan Royals’ captain Sanju Samson & owner Manoj Badale, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium last night, after what was an exceptional contest of cricket.

Jindal was seen having outburst twice, once after Sanju Samson’s controversial wicket and again after the Capitals’ 20-run victory that kept them alive in the playoff race. He thus faced criticism from the internet community. The video of Jindal’s outburst went viral, but no one noticed the post-match gesture he made for Samson and RR.

Parth also extended his congratulations to the RR skipper on being selected for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.’

With the victory, DC have shown tremendous improvement in the second half of the season, and is now ranked fifth in the IPL 2024 points table. After winning just two of their opening five games, DC have won five of their seven matches m, proving themselves as a formidable opponent. Jake Fraser-McGurk’s rise has been extremely encouraging for the Capitals, as the young Australian player has lit up the competition with his explosive play.
