Social media clips are viral with Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh and others flaunting the luxury timepieces that are collectively worth Rs 50 crore. The premium watch is decked with 18k rose gold color dial and dark blue dub dials with sapphire crystal caliber. Besides the time, the watch also displays a perpetual calendar with weeks and moonphase. The bracelet of the watch features 18k rose gold plating. The watch is water resistant for up to 20 meters.

One user jibed that probably the Ambanis got hold of the watches in bulk order availing “accha khasa discount.” Another quipped “nanga capitalism.” One user remarked, finally cracking the code as to why everyone was dancing like crazy. It was probably the expensive gifts. A few users took a dig at the Ambanis for gifting regular Reliance staff with a Haldriam snacks kit, while giving away crores worth watches to their well known privileged friends. One user remarked how these extravagant vulgar display of wealth could have been used to wipe out some student and farmer’s loans.
