Naidu also assured that the prasadam should be of good quality and also rates should not be increased and tickets for 'Darshan' should not be sold in the black market. Naidu also hit out at the former YSRCP government for commercializing the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam during his visit to the temple after taking oath on Wednesday. "They have commercialized the TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam). Once you're on hill top, you should feel pure, prasadam should be neat, and rates shouldn't be increased. Darshan tickets shouldn't be sold in the black market," Naidu said speaking to reporters on Thursday.

Andhra CM further said that the prasadam should be of good quality and also rates should not be increased and tickets for 'Darshan' should not be sold in the black market. "They turned this religious place into the centre of Marijuana, liquor and non-vegetarian food," Naidu said accusing the former state government.The chief minister also assured that cleansing will start from TTD."

The Chief Minister also questioned the Jagan Mohan Reddy government for allocating posts as per his wishes and influencing court cases. "Will you sell Venkateshwara Swamy for your benefit? You give posts as per your wishes! You give posts to influence your court cases!" Naidu said.

Earlier on Thursday, N Chandrababu Naidu offered, prayers at the Sri Venkateswara temple at nearby Tirumala, accompanied by family members.

Speaking to reporters in Tirumala after the temple visit, CM Naidu said, "My family members are devotees of Lord Tirumala Venkateswara. I visit

the deity before making any major decisions. I have never seen such success given by the people of the state. People's rule has started in the state, there should be a purge."

"The Lord saved me earlier when I was attacked by Naxals. I prayed for this state's prosperity. Economic disparities should be removed in the state. My goal is not only to create wealth but also to distribute it to the poor."

Naidu’s son and cabinet member Nara Lokesh also accompanied the Chief Minister.Naidu was accorded a traditional welcome by the authorities and priests and offered theertham (sacred water) and prasadam.

Following the visit, the CM is scheduled to return to Amaravati to assume office at the secretariat at 4:41 pm.Later, he will clear several files such as the mega DSC (teacher recruitment), revocation of the Land Titling Act and increase of welfare pensions to Rs 4,000 per month.He is also expected to clear files on reviving ’Anna Canteens’ and skills census.
