Fahad Faasil’s Aavesham has been getting good reviews since its release. It’s an action-comedy directed by Jithu Madhavan, starring Fahadh Faasil as Ranga, the main character. It’s doing well and might be the top film for Vishu in 2024. After two days, it made around Rs. 21.5 crore worldwide.
On the second day, it earned about Rs. 10.82 crore worldwide. So, in two days, it crossed Rs. 21.5 crore worldwide. It’s doing better than other Vishu releases like “Varshangalkku Shesham” and “Jai Ganesh.”
From Kerala alone, it made over Rs. 6.75 crore. In other countries, it made over Rs. 13 crore. It’s especially popular overseas. But it’s unsure if it will beat past Malayalam movie records.
PVR not showing Malayalam movies has affected “Aavesham’s” earnings, especially outside Kerala. However, it’s liked by Telugu-speaking audiences, especially in Hyderabad.
It might cross Rs. 40 crore worldwide within the first weekend. If it keeps going like this, it might even reach Rs. 80 crore lifetime, though 100 crores seems difficult.
