AP EAMCET 2024 result declared, Makineni Jishnu Sai tops engineering exam

Manabadi AP EAMCET Result 2024 Link: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU) Kakinada has today declared the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET) 2024. Candidates need to obtain at least 25 per cent marks, i.e. 40 marks to be listed in the ranking released.

Makineni Jishnu Sai tops the engineering exam. A total of 3,62,851 candidates registered for the AP EAPCET 2024 including 2,74,213 candidates registered for the engineering stream, and 88,638 for the agriculture stream. A total of 1,82,283 female candidates (engineering 1,16,205+ agriculture 66,080) registered for the AP EAPCET while a total of 1,80,566 male candidates (engineering 158008+

agriculture 22,558) applied to sit for the exam.

Applicants, who appeared for the exam can check their scorecard and rank through the official website – cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

A total of 1,95,092 out of 2,58,374 candidates are qualified in the engineering stream and a total of 70,352 out of 80,766 are qualified in the Agriculture Stream, as per APSCHE.

Candidate’s ranks will be allotted based on their EAMCET and Class 12 performance. They will be rewarded 75 per cent of the weightage of EAMCET marks and 25 per cent weight will be taken into consideration of class 12 marks in relevant group subjects — physics, mathematics and chemistry of the qualifying exam. However, the ST and SC category candidates will be provided with a no minimum marks criteria relaxation.

A committee will decide the weightage of marks, to provide a rank in case the candidates belong to the Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holder category.

How to calculate rank, if you have the same combined score?

If students have the same total score, then the tie is broken down further by looking at marks secured in EAMCET Exam, then performance in Maths questions of the entrance exam, similar further Physics marks are taken into consideration, and then finally still the candidates have the same score then the same rank will be provided but during admission candidates by date of birth will provide the higher preference

After following all the steps, the candidates are still in a tie, the same rank will be allotted to both candidates, While the preference will be provided to older ones, as per their date of birth as compared to younger candidates during admission.

To check the scorecard, candidates need to click on the AP EAPCET 2024 section, from the homepage. On the new tab select the link “download rank card”, next login using the required credentials such as registration number, roll number, payment ID, or date of birth.

The candidate’s result will appear on the screen, they are required to download and save the scorecard for further reference.

This year, the AP EAPCET 2024 exam for Agriculture and Pharmacy was conducted on May 16 and May 17, whereas the engineering stream exam concluded on May 23.
