His live rating is now 2779.9 which means he is just 15.8 Elo rating points away from surpassing the World no.3 - Fabiano Caruana (USA). In the penultimate round of 5th Stepan Avagyan Memorial, Arjun defeated Volodar Murzin to win the tournament with one round to go. Murzin made a minute error in the rook and minor piece endgame. That's all it took for Arjun to seize his opportunity and win the game. Prizes
