If you pick the cricketers who can speak fluently in English in front of the camera, Babar Azam won’t make the cut. Even though Pakistan's captain tries as much as he can, and is only getting better with time, there has been plenty of trolling on social media regarding his language skills, which, of course, is not ‘cool’.

There had to be someone charismatic individual to shut down these unnecessary trolls. And it was AB De Villiers, one of the legends of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who did the honours on Saturday.

De Villiers and Babar recently had a long chat, which the South African posted on his YouTube channel. There, an Indian fan taunted Pakistan’s skipper, commenting that "ABD hardly control his laughing. Babar Azam speaking in English" with a few tears of joy smiley emojis. Ironically, it was wrong English as well.

ABD’s response was savage. "His English is infinitely better than my Urdu. And his batting is excellent, which is what matters more, I believe," the RCB superstar replied.

Here's AB De Villiers Reply To An Indian fan

Babar will be next in action on June 6 when Pakistan will take on the United States of America (USA) in a Group A fixture of the T20 World Cup 2024 at Grand Prairie Stadium, Dallas.
