Bank holidays this week: Banks to remain close on four days from April 8-13; check details here

: Banks across India will remain closed for multiple days this week. National banks, including the State Bank of India (SBI), have announced a five-day holiday streak beginning April 9. The holidays are slated for various festivals and occasions, including Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, Telegu New Year, Bohag Bihu, and Eid celebrations.Banks in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Hyderabad - Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad - Telangana, Manipur, Goa, Jammu and Srinagar will be open for only three days this week — Monday, Wednesday and Friday.Banks in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad - Telangana, Manipur, Goa, Jammu and Srinagar, will remain closed on April 9 on account of Gudi Padwa/Ugadi/Telegu New Year.On Wednesday, April 10, banks will remain closed in Kerala for Id-Ul-Fitr, while on Thursday, April 11, banks across the country, except Chandigarh, Sikkim, Kerala and Himachal Pradesh, will be shut.Banks in Tripura, Assam, Manipur, Jammu and Srinagar will be closed on April 13 for the Bohag Bihu/Cheiraoba/Baisakhi/Biju Festival.
