As several Kpop stars have turned successful actors, fans wondered if Jin will also make his acting debut.
There was also a hug session with Jin, where he gave 1000 free hugs to BTS ARMY.

BTS Jin has returned from the military after completing his service last month. Fans are looking forward to Kim Seokjin's upcoming projects but the singer has not announced anything yet. As several Kpop stars have turned successful actors, fans wondered if Jin will also make his acting debut. But Jin has now revealed on Weverse that he is not interested in acting and would like to stick to singing and dancing.
Jin wrote on Weverse, "I don't have any plans to actㅠㅠ sorry."

Jin celebrated his return from the military with BTS ARMY and organised a grand event. There was also a hug session with Jin, where he gave 1000 free hugs to BTS ARMY. While speaking at the event, Jin said, "I need to talk about FESTA. I gave a good idea, but it received a lot of criticism. I took a look at it so let me try to explain. I took a draft with me from the start. Since I am in charge of the FESTA by myself this time, I contacted the organizer around October, November last year. But they were honest and said they already planned everything so there wasn’t much left to do. They asked me if I had any ideas. I said I wanted to do a free hug event, but they said no."
