3,000 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency under the Express Entry draw for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) were sent out on May 31, 2024. The period during which invitations may be issued under these Ministerial Instructions begins on May 31, 2024, and ends on June 1, 2024.

The Canadian Experience Class is for skilled workers with Canadian work experience who want to become permanent residents.
You must meet all the minimum requirements for Canadian skilled work experience and language ability to be eligible.
For Canadian skilled work experience, you must have at least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada (or an equal amount of part-time work experience) in the 3 years before you apply and have gained work experience by working in Canada while authorized to work under temporary resident status.

You are not eligible for the Canadian Experience Class if you work without authorization and your work experience was gained without temporary resident status in Canada.
