According to a Fabrizio Romano “EXCLUSIVE”, the Blues have managed to leapfrog Newcastle United once again, just like in the table late season, and have emerged as “clear favorites” to sign Tosin Adarabioyo on free.
— and that has allowed Chelsea to swoop in and take charge, with our negotiations now “at final stages”.
EXCLUSIVE: Chelsea are closing in on deal to sign Tosin Adarabioyo, negotiations at final stages.
Newcastle have been working on Tosin deal for weeks but #CFC now clear favorites, cautious until it’s sealed.
Well, either way, we wish Tosin the best of luck in his future Chelsea career and hope he wins a lot here!

While this may end up a bargain signing for us, the decision-making in this situation has been questionable. Leaving the quality of Tosin aside, signing him while letting Trevoh Chalobah go (probably) just because of the PSR hole that we’ve dug ourselves is yet another rotten feather in the cap of management. And that’s before we consider whether we even truly need another center back just because Thiago Silva has gone.
Well, either way, we wish Tosin the best of luck in his future Chelsea career and hope he wins a lot here! Big expectations for the soon-to-be 27(?!)-year-old as the first signing of the Maresca-era. Onwards and upwards!
