CSK vs KKR: In another major injury concern for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Ajinkya Rahane left the field during the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batting innings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk) on Monday, April 8.
A substitute fielder was called as Rahane left the field. It is being reported that the experienced campaigner is carrying a calf niggle. Whether Rahane would come out to bat, remains to be seen.
An official update from the ground came that the Mumbaikar can only come to bat after 5 wickets are down or not before 10:50 local time. Hence, Daryll Mitchell was promoted at number three by CSK after opener Rachin Ravindra was dismissed for 15 off 8.
