Dalljiet Kaur visits Kenya after separation from husband, shares pic with friends

Popular television actor Dalljiet Kaur visited Kenya after an ugly separation from her husband, Nikhil Patel. She shared a couple of pictures on her Instagram stories, one of which featured herself with her girl gang at a restaurant. She geotagged the location as Nairobi.

In the photo, Dalljiet can be seen dressed in a black outfit. The caption reads, "When you meet your girl squad (sic)."

Dalljiet accused her estranged husband, Nikhil Patel, of having an extra-marital affair. The Kenya-based businessman confirmed the separation in an official statement.

Earlier, Nikhil Patel reportedly sent a legal notice after Kaur's recent posts on Instagram, accusing him of having an extramarital affair.

Reportedly, under the Indian Penal Code, the Information Technology Act of 2000, and The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act of 2012, Dalljiet Kaur’s social media posts accusing her husband of an extramarital affair are legally questionable. According to Nikhil, these posts could potentially lead to civil and criminal proceedings against her.

Earlier, Nikhil Patel confirmed their separation in a statement. He also addressed Kaur’s accusations that he was cheating. Rumours of Dalljiet and Nikhil's separation first surfaced in February this year, 10 months after their wedding. This started when Dalljiet deleted all her wedding pictures from Instagram and dropped 'Patel' from her name.
