It is crucial to acknowledge that dengue and chikungunya cases pose a significant health hazard, particularly in urban areas.District Malaria Office in the state capital did not document any instances of dengue or chikungunya during the initial quarter of this year. Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the department of health are supposed to proactively engage in mitigating vector-borne ailments. Despite rise in cases, BMC’s endeavours in this context are more conspicuous during the winter months compared to monsoon season.
