Actress Janhvi Kapoor is currently gearing up for her much-awaited Telugu debut with ' Devara '. The movie will feature Jr. NTR as the main lead. But did you know Janhvi Kapoor's mother, late Sridevi , has a connection with Jr. NTR?

Yes, you read it right! Janhvi recently revealed that her mother, Sridevi, has connections with the Jr. NTR and Ram Charan families. In an interview with PTI, Janhvi said, “Somehow it makes me feel closer to my mom to be in that environment, as well as to hear and speak in that language. It just felt like the right time; I felt I was gravitating towards it. Mom has such a history with the families of NTR sir and Ram Charan sir; it’s my honor that I’m able to work with both of these extremely talented actors.”

The film is set against coastal lands. 'Devara' is directed by Koratala Siva and marks Janhvi Kapoor’s debut in South Indian films , as well as her first collaboration with Jr. NTR. The movie will feature high-octane action sequences designed to captivate audiences.

Reportedly, 'Devara' is being produced on a massive budget, with the makers reportedly investing a staggering Rs 140 crore on its VFX . Rumors suggest that 33 percent of the film’s original budget is being allocated to special effects.

Meanwhile, Janhvi is currently enjoying the success of her recently released 'Mr and Mrs Mahi'. The film marked her second collaboration with RajKummar . The film collected Rs 16.85 crore in three days.
