Vidya expressed concerns about the growing prevalence of extramarital affairs, attributing it to the influence of social media. She highlighted the ease of engaging in virtual relationships and emphasized a sense of restlessness and disconnection driving individuals to seek emotional fulfillment outside their marriages.

Talking about the film and storyline, Vidya told Zoom, "It's a rom-com. Pratik (Pratik Gandhi) got the comic part, and he's fantastic in it. Hum bakiyon ne koshish ki hai. It's about a married couple, and it's about how they both got into a situation where they're with other people. Then all the khichdi that happens—all of that is about Do Aur Do Pyaar."

Talking about how easily people get into extramarital affairs in today's world, Vidya said, "With social media and things like that, it becomes easier for you to have virtual affairs, not just physical affairs. There are lots of translations happening. There's also a restlessness in people. I feel we're losing connections with ourselves and our loved ones, and that's why we're seeking them everywhere else. Therefore, I feel people are getting into lots of situations like this more now."

She also cited one example: "I know of one such case where the woman is happily married with a child. Obviously, not happily enough, I feel, because she's also having an affair, and this has been going on for 6–8 years. I asked her, 'Don't you want to break up with your husband and be with this man? and she said, 'No'. She said, 'We're a unit, and we're a happy family, but here this man treats me like a queen. He treats me like a woman, and now my husband doesn't do that anymore. He treats me like a wife, a mother, and a daughter-in-law. I was like, 'Aisa bhi hota hai.'"

Do Aur Do Pyaar is all set to release on April 19.
