The makers today came up with an update on the film’s release date. ‘Double iSmart’ will now release on Independence Day, August 15. This comes after Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ was postponed just a few days back.
Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ is one of the biggest releases of the year and with the film being postponed, several makers rushed to take the coveted Independence Day slot. There’s not just a holiday on Thursday, but another holiday on Monday (Raksha Bandhan). That will allow ‘Double iSmart’ to enjoy a 4-day weekend.

Sanjay Dutt will play the antagonist. Kavya Thapar is the lead actor opposite Ram. Sam K Naidu and Gianni Gianneli are the cinematographers for the movie, which has music by Mani Sharma. The film is produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur on Puri Connects banner. ‘Double iSmart’ will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
