Long-term exposure to UV rays can also increase the risk of developing eye cancers. To protect our eyes, it is recommended to wear sunglasses that block 99-100% of UVA and UVB rays when spending extended periods in direct sunlight. Wide-brimmed hats can also help shield the eyes from overhead sunlight. Regular eye exams and prompt treatment of any eye issues are crucial for maintaining good eye health.”
