Hari Om, showcasing cultural and religious content, will launch in June 2024 with a line-up of more than 20 mythological shows.

The new OTT platform will feature long format and short format series, targeting senior citizens, children and young adults. The OTT platform will also offer bhajans in both video and audio formats. For children, there will be curated animated content on mythology.

The latest OTT venture is the third streaming platform by Agarwal who is also focusing on the Ullu IPO with more investments in content. He also runs an OTT called Atrangii. While Agarwal had also launched Atrangii TV, which went live in June 2022, its operations were shut down with the company shifting entirely to OTT a year later.

“As Indians, it is essential for us to know our roots, culture, tradition, and heritage to develop a sense of pride and respect for it. This app will feature only mythological and religious content which can be consumed by the entire family together. Recognizing the demand among the senior citizens and younger audiences to explore our Indian mythology, we are delighted to announce Hari Om," Agarwal said.

The new app's line-up includes content like Shri Tirupati Balaji, Mata Saraswati, Chaya Grah Rahu Ketu, Jai Jagannath, Kaikeyi Ke Ram, Maa Lakshmi and Navgrah.

Agarwal is focusing on large-budget productions for the religious shows with sets that transport viewers back to the golden age, he said.
