'Further strengthens my point' Rahul Gandhi slams BJP RSS over attack on party office in Gujarat

NEW DELHI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday upped the ante against Bharatiya Janata Party and RSS for the attack on Gujarat Congress office and claimed that the violence further strengthens his point about the party. In a social media post on X, the Congress leader said, "The cowardly and violent attack on the Gujarat Congress office further strengthens my point about the BJP and the Sangh Parivar. "The people of Gujarat can clearly see through their lies and will teach the BJP government a decisive lesson," Gandhi said"I am saying it again - INDIA is going to win in Gujarat!" He added.Gandhi's remarks come a day after BJP and Congress workers pelted stones at each other outside Congress headquarters in Ahmedabad during a protest against "anti-Hindu" remarks made by Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha. While the BJP accused Congress workers of attacking a "peaceful protest," opposition leaders blamed BJP cadres for initiating the violence. The controversy follows an incident on Monday night when members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal entered the Gujarat Congress headquarters. Protestors defaced Rahul Gandhi's posters by pasting stickers and spraying black paint as a mark of protest.Although the main premises were locked, they tore party banners and defaced photos of Rahul Gandhi near the main entrance of the building.
