Gerard Pique has been chatting about El Clasico and says Real Madrid were wrongly awarded a penalty in the first half for a foul by Pau Cubarsi.
Los Blancos made it 1-1 from the penalty spot after Lucas Vazquez made sure he fell over Pau Cubarsi’s leg after getting away from Joao Cancelo.
Pique is adamant that Vazquez went looking for the spot-kick and it shouldn’t have been given.
“The penalty is not a penalty because Lucas is looking for his foot, you can clearly see.
Vazquez changed the position of his right foot to collide with Cubarsí,” he said on Twitch with Ibai Llanos.

The former defender also spoke about the ‘ghost goal’ by Lamine Yamal that was not given after a VAR check due to a lack of goal-line technology.
“With images it’s difficult. There must be a camera on the crossbar for goals like that. I feel like the ball went in, but I understand if they say that they can’t confirm that,” he added.
Barcelona weren’t at all happy with the decision not to allow the goal. Both Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Xavi blasted the call after the game.
