'Ghilli' re-release box office collection: Vijay's film is now the highest-grossing Indian film among other re-releases

Outperforming the original version, ' Ghilli ' transformed into a massive hit by grossing the first 50-crore Kollywood grosser. The remastered 4K version of 'Ghilli' was released in theatres across the globe a week back, and the film steps into the second week of theatrical run today (April 27).According to Cinetrak, 'Ghilli' has grossed around Rs 21 crore in 7 days of its release, and the film has reached another milestone. By surpassing the 20-crore mark during the re-release , 'Ghilli' is now the only Indian film to reach the milestone.'Ghilli' has occupied over 1000 screens worldwide for its re-release, and the film has retained most of its screens as it steps into the second week. Fans across the globe have been highly enjoying the film, while videos of fans celebrating the film well in theatres have surfaced on social media. In Tamil Nadu alone, 'Ghilli' has reportedly grossed around Rs 15 crore, and the makers have declared the film a highly profitable one.'Ghilli' marked the first-ever union of Vijay, Trisha, and Prakash Raj , and the trio transformed into a successful one.
