On Thursday evening, Govinda surprised everyone by gracing niece Arti Singh’s wedding in Mumbai. Given his absence from her pre-wedding ceremonies and his strained relationship with his nephew Krushna Abhishek, fans were unsure if Govinda would attend. Govinda’s brother Kirti Kumar also attended the wedding and opened up about the rift between two families.
In an interview with Telly Masala, Kumar said, “She (Arti) is my favourite sister’s daughter. In a way Krushna and Arti’s mother, who is our sister, raised me and Govinda. Govinda is much younger than me, but she has only raised him.”
When asked about the fallout between Krushna and Govinda, the actor said, “In which family there are no fights or quarrels? And if someone is upset, it doesn’t mean I would not be happy for them. Such a thing as a perfect relationship doesn’t exist. If someone has some tension with someone, it doesn’t mean that they are not family anymore.
