The post mortem was done at Gauhati Medical College Hospital on Thursday. “The body has been handed over to the family members and it is likely to be taken to Samastipur,” said a police officer.He added that Saurabh was staying in a room with another student.Police recovered his body from the room after the institute informed the police about the incident at 5:30 pm on Wednesday evening. “When his roommate was in the class during the day, Saurabh handged himself in the room. The security guards and his roommate later came to know about the incident,” he said.Sources said academic stress and personnel issues may be the reasons behind this extreme step.
