Anushka, on Father's Day, treated fans to an adorable photo. It was a card with footprints of both Vamika and their newborn son, Akaay. Sharing the photo, she wrote, "How can one person be so good at so many things! Baffling we LOVE YOU @virat.kohli (sic)."

Both Anushka and Virat are extremely protective of their kids. They want no media attention on them. Years back, she wrote a note, thanking the media, paps and fan pages to not carry images of their daughter, Vamika. She wrote, "We are deeply thankful to the Indian paparazzi and most of the media fraternity for not publishing pictures/videos of Vamika. As parents, our request to the few who carried the images/video will be to support us going forward.”

She added, “We seek privacy for our child and would like to do our best to give her a chance to live her life freely away from media and social media. As she is older we cannot restrict her movement and hence your support is needed so kindly practice restraint in the matter. Special thank you to fan clubs and people of the internet for going out of your way to not post images. It was kind and highly mature of you.”

On the work front, she was last seen in 'Zero' with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. She will be next seen in 'Chakda Xpress'.
