Earlier, Akhilesh Yadav had raised serious concerns over the integrity of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) results. In a tweet, Akhilesh suggested the occurrence of a significant scam in the NEET exam as nearly 67 students scored 100% marks.
Akhilesh pointed out the suspicious nature of numerous candidates achieving perfect scores, particularly from the same examination centre. He implied that such anomalies could indicate a systematic manipulation of the exam process.
The SP chief had said that the youth of the country are losing faith in the system due to repeated instances of alleged misconduct in various exams.
Education Ministry Cancels UGC-NET June 2024 Exam
Education Ministry had cancelled the UGC NET June 2024 exam after reports of integrity of exam being compromised. The cancellation of NET Exam led to parents and students thinking that NEET Exam is cancelled. The Ministry has ordered the cancellation of the UGC NET exam.

The Ministry of Education issued a statement regarding the cancellation of UGC NET Exam. The ministry said that exam is cancelled on the basis of inputs from Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, prima-facie indicating that the integrity of the examination may have been compromised.
NEET-UG Paper Leak: CBI Files Fresh Case Day After Taking Over Probe
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Sunday filed a case in UGC NEET-UG exam paper leak case. This comes a day after CBI took over the investigation related to NEET (UG) Examination 2024. The decision was taken for "transparency on the conduct of the examination process", the Ministry of Education said announcing the late-night decision.
The examination was held on May 5 across 4,750 centres and around 24 lakh candidates appeared for it. Its results were expected to be declared on June 14 but were announced on June 4, apparently because the evaluation of the answer sheets was completed earlier.
