IPL 2024 Orange Cap update: Ruturaj Gaikwad rises to second spot with ton against LSG

IPL 2024 Orange Cap Holder: Chennai Super Kings skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad led from the front, scoring an unbeaten 107 against Lucknow Super Giants which catapulted him to the second position in the Orange Cap race.

On Sunday, Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Virat Kohli was dismissed early in the chase against the Kolkata Knight Riders – a wicket that ignited his fury – but the former RCB skipper still leads the Orange Cap race with 379 runs, 55 more than Travis Head, who is second in the tally.

Head entered the fray for the top-run scorers of IPL 2024 following his quickfire 89 against the Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday.
