In a viral video, Rohit took over the driver duties for the team bus as the fans went berserk. The fans waving at the MI team bus saw a rare sight of Rohit coming into the driver's seat. They went crazy and roared in joy and clicked Rohit's picture. Rohit seemed to have enjoyed the new role as his teammates also left in splits after seeing him as the bus driver. The players laughed and snapped Rohit's video and the star batter also captured the memory in his phone. The incident happened when the team was arriving from the practice session at their team hotel.

Earlier, Rohit had ditched the team bus to arrive at Wankhede Stadium in his Range Rover. The best part about the luxury car was the number plate, which read 0264 as the number. 264 is the highest-ever individual score in ODI cricket when Rohit slammed a double century against Sri Lanka at the Eden Garden Stadium, Kolkata.

The co-owner of MI franchise, Akash Ambani, was spotted alongside Rohit near the Wankhede Stadium. The duo went for a spin on the streets of Mumbai as Akash drove the ultra-luxurious car and Rohit sat in the passenger seat.
Rohit still didn't choose to sit on the team bus as he chose to drive it. The MI fans will be happy to see a light mood within the camp as things will heat up when the franchise will host Chennai.
