Kangana Ranaut flaunts her ‘new identity’ as an MP a day after after Chandigarh slapping incident. See here

Kangana Ranaut, who recently won the General Election 2024 from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi constituency, has now received her Member of Parliament identity card. On Friday, the new MP took to her Instagram Stories to share a photo of herself with the caption, “New identity new identity card.” In the photo, she could be seen flaunting her MP identity card. This came a day after the actor-turned-politician was slapped by a CISF personnel during the security check at the Chandigarh airport. Kangana Ranaut, who recently won the General Election 2024 from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi constituency, has now received her Member of Parliament identity card. In the photo, Kangana can be seen wearing a baby blue saree. Keeping her makeup minimal, she completed her look with a bindi, and a pair of earrings. This came a day after the actor-turned-politician was slapped by a CISF personnel during the security check at the Chandigarh airport.

On Thursday, when the actress was en route Delhi, a CISF constable slapped the actress after her security check at the Chandigarh airport. The constable, identified as Kulwinder Kaur, was reportedly suspended soon after the incident. An FIR has also been lodged against her. Several videos of the actress and the constable from the Chandigarh airport were widely circulated on social media. In one of the videos, the constable was seen expressing her anger over Kangana’s statement about the farmer’s protest. The film saw multiple delays due to pending production work and clashing of release date. Kangana, who is also directing and producing the film, is yet to announce the new release date for the film. She has also signed a psychological thriller with her Tanu Weds Manu co-star R Madhavan. The actress-turned-politician will also be seen in the film Sita: The incarnation, among others. However, she previously announced that if she won the election, she would retire from the movies.
