In an interview, Kuldeep discussed his marriage plans, clarifying that his future spouse would not be from Bollywood.

India spinner Kuldeep Yadav has shared insights into his personal life following his return to Kanpur, his hometown, just a day after celebrating Team India's T20 World Cup victory in Mumbai. Upon his arrival, hundreds of fans turned out to welcome the champion spinner, who had claimed 10 wickets during the tournament. The enthusiastic fans arranged fireworks, Dhols, and music to honour Kuldeep.
In an interview, Kuldeep discussed his marriage plans, clarifying that his future spouse would not be from Bollywood. "You'll hear good news soon, but she won't be an actress. It's important that she can care for me and my family," Kuldeep shared during the interview.

Team India received a grand reception from fans in Mumbai, and a similar celebration awaited Kuldeep upon his return to Kanpur. Earlier, the players had the honour of meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi before departing for Mumbai. There, they enjoyed an open-bus victory parade from Marine Drive to the iconic Wankhede Stadium, amidst cheers and chants from thousands of passionate supporters.
At Wankhede Stadium, the Men in Blue were felicitated with a prize money of Rs 125 crore by BCCI officials. The event featured speeches from players highlighting their achievements in the T20 World Cup, followed by celebrations where players danced joyously. The evening concluded with a victory lap to the tune of 'Vande Mataram', the country's national song.
The journey back to India was organized by BCCI secretary Jay Shah, with the flight departing from hurricane-affected Barbados and landing in Delhi early morning on Thursday. The flight included BCCI officials and members of the media who covered the tournament.
