Lionel Messi has responded to Kylian Mbappe’s comments about the Euro’s being more difficult than the World Cup.
Messi played alongside Kylian Mbappe at PSG and against him in the 2022 World Cup final.
Mbappe stated last week that the Euro’s were more difficult than the World Cup itself.
“The Euro Cup is very important but it leaves out Argentina, three time world champion.
“In the World Cup, the best teams are there, all the World champions are generally there.

“Mbappe saying that the Euro’s are more difficult than the World Cup? He also said that the South American teams didn’t have the competition of the Europeans. Everyone values what they play.
“The Euro Cup is very important but it leaves out Argentina, three time world champion. Brazil, five time world champion. Uruguay, two time world champions.
“There are many World champions left out to say that the Euro Cup is the most difficult, right?
“In the World Cup, the best teams are there, all the World champions are generally there. That’s why everyone wants to be World champion.”
